Benjamin Vineyards is a family owned and operated vineyard located in the Haw River Valley AVA in Piedmont North Carolina. Situated outside the picturesque town of Saxapahaw along the Haw River, the sandy loam soil of our vineyard is ideal for growing Muscadine grapes-- including Scuppernong, the nation's first cultivated wine grape-- as well as viniferous French wine grapes and French-American hybrid wine grapes.
As of January 2015, our tasting room is no longer open; we are no longer a winery.
We will be selling grapes, grape juice, and jellies at the Carrboro Farmers' Market (taking a break in 2020). If there is something special you want to pick up, call us or email us ahead of time so we can be sure to have it for you.
Our JELLY is still available at the Saxapahaw General Store.
To ensure your pet's safety and the comfort of our guests, PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED on the premises
(except working dogs).
Benjamin Vineyards is located in the federally recognized
Haw River Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area).
