Benjamin Vineyards is a family owned and operated vineyard located in the Haw River Valley AVA in Piedmont North Carolina.  Situated outside the picturesque town of Saxapahaw along the Haw River, the sandy loam soil of our vineyard is ideal for growing Muscadine grapes-- including Scuppernong, the nation's first cultivated wine grape-- as well as viniferous French wine grapes and French-American hybrid wine grapes.

Beginning January 2015, our tasting room will no longer be open to visitors.  The vineyards are open for pick-your-own Muscadines September-October.

As of July 2016, Benjamin Vineyards has a new phone number:

336-525-2401

OUR TASTING ROOM IS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED!

PLEASE NOTE: We are still growing grapes! We are still making wine!

We use NO SPRAYS on our Muscadine grapes.

We will be selling wines, grape juice, and jellies at the Carrboro and Durham Farmers' Markets.  If there is something special you want to pick up, call us or email us ahead of time so we can be sure to have it for you.

Our JELLY AND JUICE is still available at the Saxapahaw General Store.

To ensure your pet's safety and the comfort of our guests, PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED on the premises (except working dogs).

Benjamin Vineyards is located in the federally recognized

Haw River Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area).
