About Us
Started in 2002, Benjamin Vineyards is a family-owned and operated sustainable vineyard located in the Haw River Valley AVA. We grow 15 varieties of Muscadine grapes, as well as blackberries, figs, and other fruits.
Location
We are located just outside of Saxapahaw, NC at 6516 Whitney Road, Graham, NC 27253.
2026 Pick-Your-Own Season
The 2026 pick-your-own season is starting soon! We will open for picking Labor Day Weekend, Sat. 9/5, Sun 9/6, and Mon. 9/7 from 10AM to 5PM each day. After Labor Day, we will open each weekend (Fri. thru Sun.) from 10AM to 5PM until the grapes run out.

After Labor Day, we wil be open each weekend, Friday through Sunday from 10AM to 5PM until the grapes run out (likely mid-October).
Information About Pick-Your-Own Muscadine Grapes
- Our pick-your-own is done in pre-paid gallon buckets. Please purchase a bucket before you begin picking.
- Harvest months are often hot, so bring water, a hat, and sunscreen.
- Muscadine grapes ripen individually and must be picked by hand one at a time. No scissors or pruners, please!
- We accept cash, credit, and debit card.
- CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
- If you plan to pick in bulk (100 lb. or more), please contact us in advance about bulk pricing, best varieties and timing to pick for wine, jelly, and jam production.
- To ensure your pet’s safety and the comfort of all our guests, pets are not permitted on the premises (except working dogs).
- Because we do not use pesticides, there can be insects (ex. bees, spiders) in the vines. You may want to wear glves.
